Why nothing should touch your eyes

Most masks solve darkness by pressing fabric flat against your face. That works, and it costs you something: pressure on the eyelids for seven hours, skincare wiped off, lashes flattened, and a mask you push off at three in the morning because your face is too warm.
Ours is built the other way. The cups are moulded 14mm deep, so the mask seals around the eye socket and holds a pocket of air over your eyes. It touches your brow and your cheekbone. It does not touch your eyes.
The difference shows up if you sleep on your side, which is where most masks fail.
